How To Join
Friends of the Quinte West Public Library is a volunteer, non-profit group that was started in 1993 and has been actively supporting and advocating for the library since that time. In the last ten years Friends has donated $60,000 in books and materials to the library. We are very proud of the efforts of so many volunteers over the years. Our goal is to enhance the library's collection by providing materials which are not covered by the annual budget. Each year the library staff prepares a 'Wish List' of materials that are needed. Friends' executives review this request and try to provide some of these items.
Friends of the Library welcome newcomers to the group and invite interested library supporters to pick up a membership brochure at either of the two library branches. As a Friends' member and volunteer you will gain the personal satisfaction of making a valuable contribution to your community.
How to become a member?
Pick up a brochure at the library or download a copy.
Fill it in and leave it with staff to put in the Friends' mail box.

As a member of Friends of the Library you can make a difference by supporting our efforts to improve the library for all users. Some members chose to be inactive due to family and work commitments. Others join the Book Sale Coordinator, Ann, once a week to sort and shelve books for the monthly sale.
