First of all...what a wonderful March Break! Thank you for all the families who came to hang out at the library from the Magic and Comedy of Brent and Sarah right through to our Green Party celebrating St Patrick's Day! And a huge thank you goes to our wonderful Friends of the Library for generously supporting our programs. We couldn't do it without them!

Don't forget we still have a super fun Friday program coming up before the end of March when we will kindly help your kids to Plan their Prank ;) . Please sign up for this program so we know how many supplies we need.

Check out our March calendar for details!

We have had so many false starts at Spring this year but hopefully April really will bring showers and flowers! Our regular story times will begin on Monday April 3rd. We also have some fun activities planned for Saturdays in April: a Cardboard Challenge on the 8th and some Play Doh Fun on the 22nd.  Our readers who have been enjoying the Silver Birch nominated titles are invited to come in and vote for their favouraite from April 18-21. We will draw the winners of our gift baskets on the 21st also so get those ballots in! Please see our calendar for details.

Are you looking for something free to do with your children?

Try out our new iPads packed with exciting, fun, educational apps for kids age 2 to 12.  Both Trenton and Frankford branches have them!  You can use the library's headphones or bring your own from home.

Plan a playdate!  Both Trenton and Frankford branches have a train table, toys for different stages of development, puppets, puzzles, and, of course, books to check out.  Have a seat in one of our comfy chairs and enjoy the free Wi-Fi.

Even if there isn't a planned program scheduled, there is always something to do at the Quinte West Public Library!

Looking for more programs?  Visit the main Library calendar for information about programs for all ages, including teens and adults.
